Located in Guangdong Province, China, Guangdong Polytechnic of Industry and Trade (GDPIC) is a full-time public higher vocational college directly under the Guangdong Provincial People’s Government. The institution is recognized as a national high-level vocational college construction unit, a provincial exemplary higher vocational college, and one of Guangdong Province’s first-class higher vocational colleges. It has 647 full-time teachers, 22,000 full-time students, and 9,000 adult education students. GDPIC comprises seven secondary schools covering mechanical and electrical engineering, automotive engineering, computer engineering, surveying and remote sensing information, business administration, economics and trade, and applied foreign languages. It offers 43 higher vocational programmes, including two key programmes supported by the central government, four provincial exemplary programmes, and nine provincial key programmes. The college also places strong emphasis on international education and cooperation, with partnerships with institutions in Singapore, Australia, Germany, and South Korea covering degree education, student and faculty exchanges, credit recognition, overseas internships, and international certification.
